The Magnet Safety Organization a 501c(3) nonprofit, which exists to promote the safe usage of high powered magnets among consumers and educators, through research, public outreach, and content creation. 

To further this mission, the following are either on the roadmap for the future, or currently underway:

• Promoting and defending the safe use of magnets from legislation requiring non-use. 

• Keeping record of visible government enforcement efforts and enforcement deficiencies.

• Inspecting, documenting, and recommending safe sources of high powered magnet sets.

• Producing, and supporting the production of free content promoting magnet safety.

• Archiving historical documents, images, and records pertaining to the use and misuse of high powered magnet spheres.

• A "MagnetSafety.org" packaging and sales certification program for magnets

• Providing tangible and informational magnet resources to educators, researchers, and healthcare personnel.

• Fostering knowledge, and understanding of the math and physics associated with high powered magnets.

• Performing deeper investigations into injury cases to better understand misuse.
